Sonargaon was established in the year 1983. In the formative years, the business was focused on international trading. Soon business diversified into civil construction, manufacture of power supply systems.
Sonargaon Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., is another diversification of the group in 1998 into the healthcare segment, as an imports & distribution company, with offices in the heart of the capital city of Dhaka and regional offices in Chittagong and Rajshahi. The company also has a well-established authorized stockiest and dealers’ network in all the 64 districts across Bangladesh.
Sonargaon initially started as a small family company with a team of 8 persons, over the years the company has grown in size and business, currently employing over 50 peoples. Under the guidance of the management and senior staff personally led by the Group Managing Director, Syed Azizul Karim. The sales teams ensure extensive distribution of products nationally. With our experience in the distribution of Medical & Consumer Products, we prepare annual sales forecasts and provide annual business plan to our principals. As distributors, we ensure the proper display of products, maintain regular supplies, provide information on of in-market pricing and competition.
